Post-processing

Post-processing (Optional) enhances the appearance, feel, and overall quality of your 3D printed part. Depending on the material and chosen finish, this may include sanding, smoothing, polishing, tumbling, surface refinement, or other techniques designed to reduce visible imperfections and improve the final look.

These processes can provide a cleaner, more professional finish, improve part handling comfort, and prepare surfaces for painting, coating, or further finishing steps.

Note: Additional fees are automatically calculated based on the part’s surface area, material type, and selected post-processing method. Also Note some post-processing are free and will be indicated by ($0.00) next to them

Follow these simple steps to get your custom 3D print ordered and delivered fast

Click Upload Model and add your file.
Accepted file formats: .stl, .obj, .step, .stp, .iges, .igs, .3mf, .dxf, .jpg, .jpeg
Use your mouse or touch screen to rotate and zoom to inspect the model.
Units: Default is mm (most models use mm). If your file was made in inches, switch to inch.

Scaling & Dimensions
Scaling increases the model evenly in all directions — length × width × height (L × W × H).
You can resize the model in two ways:

  • Use the Scale slider to make the model larger or smaller overall
  • Or manually adjust the Length, Width, or Height values

The dimensions are locked together, so changing one dimension automatically adjusts the others.
This keeps the model’s exact proportions — it will never stretch or distort.
The Scale slider updates automatically when dimensions are changed manually.

Material usage depends on infill:

  • Lower infill (e.g. 20%) increases material more gradually
  • Solid parts (100% infill) increase material much faster

As a guide:

  • Around 130% scale ≈ double the material
  • Around 160% scale ≈ four times the material

Larger scale values can quickly increase material and price.

Explore the full material library below to understand the properties, strengths, and technical specifications of each option.
Every material includes a detailed breakdown of mechanical performance, thermal ratings, ideal use cases, and design guidelines — helping you choose the best fit for your 3D-printed project.

ABS — Material Description

ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is a strong, durable, and chemically resistant thermoplastic widely used for functional prototypes and engineering parts. It offers better mechanical performance than PLA, making it suitable for applications requiring toughness, impact resistance, and heat stability. ABS models have a slightly rougher surface due to the FDM printing process, but vapour smoothing can significantly improve appearance.
