Refund & Return Policy

At BuildSpace 3D, we take pride in delivering high-quality 3D printing and CAD services. If for any reason you’re not satisfied with your order, we’re here to help.

Due to the custom and made-to-order nature of 3D printed products, we do not offer refunds or returns for change of mind. Please ensure that your uploaded file and order details are correct before proceeding to checkout.

Damaged or Defective Prints

If your item arrives damaged or the print quality does not meet your expectations, we’ll gladly issue a refund or replacement, provided the following conditions are met:

  • You contact us within 7 days of receiving your order
  • You include clear photos of the item and describe the issue in your email
  • The issue is related to print quality, material defects, or damage during shipping

Accepted Refund Reasons

  • Warping, cracking, or structural failures during printing
  • Incorrect material, scale, or colour from what was ordered
  • Obvious print defects (layer shifting, severe under-extrusion, etc.)

Refund Process

Once your request is reviewed and approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method. Refunds are typically issued within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card provider.

Items Not Eligible for Refund

  • Errors or flaws caused by poor 3D file design (e.g. thin walls, broken meshes)
  • Cosmetic imperfections typical of FDM or resin printing (e.g. layer lines)
  • Files printed exactly as submitted, but later deemed incorrect by the customer

If you’re unsure whether your file is suitable for printing, we recommend using our optional File Check or CAD Drafting service. You can send us your sketches or models, and we’ll help prepare or convert them into print-ready 3D files.

Shipping Returns (if applicable)

If we request that the defective product be returned for inspection, we’ll provide instructions. Return shipping costs will be covered by us only if the issue is confirmed to be due to our production error.
